Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Dallas, Texas

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
• Demonstrated experience in educational diagnostics within K-12 school settings, especially middle grades
• Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, IEP processes, and special education law
• Ability to conduct assessments and interpret results for individualized learning plans
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, families, teachers, and other professionals
• Excellent organizational and case management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students in grades 5 through 8
• Interpret assessment data and contribute expertise to eligibility determinations for special education services
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to implement strategies for student success
• Provide consultation to families regarding evaluations and recommended interventions
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with district and federal requirements
