Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Dallas, TX

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current certification or license as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working within elementary grade levels (K-5) preferred
• Familiarity with academic achievement, cognitive, and behavioral assessments
• Knowledge of special education law, eligibility determination, and IEP processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working part-time, approximately 20 hours per week

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with a school psychologist to interpret data and develop recommendations
• Participate in eligibility, ARD, and IEP meetings as required
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Support teachers and families in understanding evaluation findings and implementing recommendations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
