A bilingual Educational Diagnostician position is available for the 2026–2027 school year in the surrounding Dallas, TX area. This full-time opportunity involves supporting elementary students through comprehensive evaluations and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret formal and informal educational and psychological assessments.
Conduct evaluations to identify students’ academic, developmental, and behavioral needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and specialized staff to support student achievement.
Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and present findings clearly during meetings.
Participate in eligibility determination meetings and IEP discussions to help develop individualized support plans.
Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
Stay current on best practices and special education evaluation procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience conducting evaluations within school-based settings, preferably with elementary caseloads.
Strong understanding of special education law, eligibility criteria, and assessment procedures.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage responsibilities independently in a fast-paced educational environment.
