Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Denton, TX

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Educational Diagnostician serving students onsite in a supportive school environment. This is a full-time position with several openings available, running from ASAP through late May, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician (required)
• Experience working within school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education evaluation processes
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments using standardized and informal tools
• Interpret data and present evaluation results to multidisciplinary teams and families
• Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain up-to-date, organized documentation of all assessments and meetings
• Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings, sharing critical insights on student needs and progress
• Provide consultative support and recommendations to teachers and staff
• Stay current on state and federal regulations affecting special education eligibility
