Diagnostician | Estancia, New Mexico

Step into an impactful role serving K-8 students as an Educational Diagnostician for the 26/27 school year. As an itinerant diagnostician, you’ll support schools by providing critical assessments and guidance across a diverse caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid New Mexico Educational Diagnostician PED license
• Previous experience as an Educational Diagnostician in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of conducting educational assessments and evaluations
• Comfort working with students ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade
• Effective communicator with the ability to facilitate and participate in IEP meetings
• Demonstrate collaboration skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Flexible and adaptable to work across multiple schools as an itinerant team member

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for K-8 students
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to identify and support student needs
• Provide clear, well-documented reports and recommendations to educational teams and families
• Support compliance with state and federal guidelines related to special education
• Attend IEP meetings and offer expertise to develop student-centered solutions
