This full-time, on-site contract role invites experienced professionals to provide assessment and consultation services throughout the school year, typically working with one or two schools at a time. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification in Texas.
• Previous experience working within school settings as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Strong foundation in special education eligibility determination, evaluation procedures, and standardized testing administration.
• Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Skilled at communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences, including students, parents, and professionals.
• Adaptable, organized, and capable of managing a dynamic caseload across multiple locations.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal assessments for students referred for special education services and re-evaluations.
• Interpret assessment data and collaborate with school teams to develop actionable educational plans.
• Facilitate ARD/IEP meetings by presenting evaluation findings and supporting effective goal-setting.
• Consult and provide guidance to teachers, parents, and support staff regarding accommodations and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all evaluation and reporting timelines are met.
• Travel between one to two assigned schools as needed.
