Key Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification required
- Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and interpreting assessment data within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state guidelines regarding special education eligibilities and services
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills to manage documentation, deadlines, and reporting
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and eligibility evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and related service staff to support student needs
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written reports
- Facilitate and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Develop recommendations for individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Maintain compliance with paperwork and timelines according to district, state, and federal requirements
