Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification required
• Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and interpreting assessment data within a school setting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state guidelines regarding special education eligibilities and services
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills to manage documentation, deadlines, and reporting

Responsibilities:

• Perform psychoeducational assessments and eligibility evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and related service staff to support student needs
• Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written reports
• Facilitate and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Develop recommendations for individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Maintain compliance with paperwork and timelines according to district, state, and federal requirements
