Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid certification and credentials as an Educational Diagnostician (or state-specific equivalent)
• Experience assessing and supporting students in at least two or more of the following grades: 1st-9th
• Strong understanding of special education processes, legal compliance, and individualized academic planning
• Proficient in conducting educational and psychological assessments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students referred for educational assessments across 1st through 9th grades
• Develop, administer, and interpret a variety of assessment tools to identify learning differences
• Create comprehensive diagnostic reports and recommendations for educational accommodations or services
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, student support staff, and families to implement interventions and support plans
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert input
• Maintain current records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
