Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Fort Stockton, TX

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience conducting educational assessments and report writing for school-aged children
• Background in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Bilingual capabilities are favored, but not required
• Comfortable working independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Open to candidates who can provide services virtually or in-person

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive educational evaluations to help identify student needs
• Interpret assessment data and draft meaningful recommendations for educators and families
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support personnel regarding student placement and accommodations
• Attend and participate in ARD/IEP meetings, contributing diagnostic expertise
• Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical practices in all interactions and documentation
