Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Fort Stockton, Texas

Qualifications:

• Certification and experience as an Educational Diagnostician
• In-depth knowledge of special education laws and evaluation processes
• Expertise in conducting educational assessments and interpreting results
• Strong organizational, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for special education services
• Analyze assessment data and prepare thorough reports in accordance with established guidelines
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding evaluation results and individualized recommendations
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as a subject matter expert on assessment and special education eligibility
