Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Fort Worth, TX

Leverage your expertise in both Spanish and English to provide comprehensive evaluation and consultation services across two campuses. This full-time position (35 hours per week) involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, making a real impact on educational outcomes.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (bilingual communication required)
• Master’s degree and a valid TX classroom teaching certificate
• At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience
• Active state certification or eligibility for certification as an educational diagnostician in Texas (must have passed state exam)
• Prior school-based experience as an educational diagnostician
• Availability for on-site, itinerant assignments between two schools; not open to virtual/teletherapy options
• Ability to complete time-sensitive background checks including fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely and thorough educational assessments for students ranging from early childhood through high school
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports to inform Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and eligibility meetings
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and other support staff to design interventions targeting student success
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to review and present findings
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
