Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- Three years of full-time, accredited classroom teaching experience
- Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of testing procedures, report writing, and IEP meetings
- Completion of required fingerprinting and credentialing processes within specified timeframes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret educational assessments for students across two district campuses
- Provide detailed and comprehensive reports outlining assessment findings
- Attend ARD and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering informed recommendations
- Support teachers, families, and staff in understanding and addressing student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with school personnel, students, and families in both English and Spanish
On-site presence is essential—remote/VOCO options are not available for this role. The contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and includes a 35-hour work week (7 hours per day).
