3rd Grade 5th Grade Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Fort Worth, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Previous experience assessing and supporting students’ educational needs across elementary and middle school grades (1st–9th)
• Familiarity with developing and evaluating individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to interpret assessment data and recommend interventions
• Dedication to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to identify students’ strengths and challenges
• Develop and monitor IEPs to ensure effective academic support
• Provide direct intervention services and track student progress
• Offer professional guidance to teachers regarding classroom modifications and accommodations
• Keep detailed, compliant records of assessments and interventions
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
