Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong analytical and assessment skills
- Understanding of educational law, procedures, and eligibility criteria
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced academic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive academic and behavioral assessments for elementary students
- Administer and interpret a variety of evaluation tools in both Spanish and English
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and review student progress
- Provide clear, comprehensive written and oral reports of findings and recommendations
- Stay informed on best practices in assessment and instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Support and consult with staff regarding strategies for students with identified needs
