A contract opportunity is now available for a bilingual Educational Diagnostician to support students and educators east of Dallas for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position offers the chance to work in a vibrant educational environment, utilizing your expertise to facilitate student success and compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
  • Master’s degree in Special Education required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of evaluation techniques, eligibility criteria, and IEP process
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Interpret assessment data and use results to determine special education eligibility
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to develop appropriate educational plans and interventions
  • Facilitate and participate in ARD/IEP meetings, clearly communicating findings and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide consultative support to campus staff regarding instructional strategies, classroom modifications, and accommodations
  • Serve as a resource to families, supporting understanding of the special education assessment process
