Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Experience in conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
• Strong knowledge of eligibility criteria for special education services under IDEA
• Ability to interpret assessment data and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to partnering with educators, families, and staff
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
• Previous experience in a school or district setting is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Compile, analyze, and interpret evaluation results for eligibility determination and program planning
• Prepare clear, concise written reports and present findings in meetings with staff and families
• Develop recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Serve as a resource and consultant to teachers, administration, and parents
• Help ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines regarding special education services
