This assignment offers the unique opportunity to work as an itinerant diagnostician, collaborating across two campuses within an innovative and student-centered environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification is required
  • Previous experience in a school-based educational diagnostician role strongly preferred
  • Proven expertise evaluating students in kindergarten through 12th grade is highly advantageous
  • Deep knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Texas special education guidelines
  • Exceptional report writing, organizational, communication, and time management abilities
  • Comfortable managing responsibilities across multiple campus sites

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and reevaluations for K–12 students
  • Prepare thorough, timely evaluation reports and manage all necessary documentation
  • Participate in Student Support Team meetings before referrals and present in ARD meetings to review assessment results
  • Collaborate closely with administrators, special education teams, teachers, related service professionals, and families
  • Ensure all processes comply with state and district special education timelines and protocols
