Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Garland, Texas

This part-time role is ideal for a skilled Educational Diagnostician ready to make a difference on campuses throughout the Fort Worth area. With a start date as soon as possible and a contract extending through May 21st, 2027, you'll have the chance to offer valuable expertise over the long term while benefiting from flexible scheduling, including one work-from-home day each week.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Interpret assessment data for parents, teachers, and service providers to guide instructional recommendations
• Stay current on best practices and regulatory requirements related to special education
• Communicate findings and progress reports in both written and verbal formats
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards

What You Bring:

• Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working in a school setting evaluating and supporting students with diverse educational needs
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency utilizing assessment tools and related technology
