Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Garland, Texas

A rewarding opportunity is now available for a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. This full-time, contract role focuses on supporting learners across a key 6th-12th grade campus with visits to additional school sites as needed for Spanish evaluations. Your bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is critical for performing comprehensive assessments and ensuring equitable support for all students.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
• Experience with grades 6-12 or adolescent student populations
• Familiarity with Frontline eSped strongly preferred
• Background in charter schools or smaller Texas districts is a significant plus
• Ability to travel locally between assigned sites for Spanish-language evaluations
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough educational assessments in both English and Spanish
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Support compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
• Use Frontline eSped for case management and documentation when possible
• Offer expertise and consultative support across multiple campuses as needed
• Foster strong partnerships with families and staff to advocate for student needs

This position offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) and the chance to work within a supportive educational environment focused on student success.
