Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Grand Prairie, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification and experience as an Educational Diagnostician
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Prior experience working with elementary-age students, ideally in a diverse setting
• Familiarity and comfort with Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to students, families, and staff
• Flexibility regarding interview format; onsite preferred, virtual available if necessary

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
• Write thorough, data-driven reports to inform student programming
• Participate actively in ARD meetings as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to create effective, individualized education plans
• Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to necessary legal and ethical standards
• Deliver culturally responsive evaluation and recommendations, leveraging bilingual skills to serve families effectively
