Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Grand Prairie, Texas

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification in the state of Texas
• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field preferred
• Proven experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations
• Thorough understanding of Texas state and federal regulations for special education
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Previous work with students in grades 5–8 preferred

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine special education eligibility
• Interpret and report assessment data to multidisciplinary teams and families
• Develop appropriate recommendations and individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Consult regularly with teachers, counselors, and parents regarding student needs
• Maintain compliance with all timelines and documentation requirements
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing informed recommendations
