Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Demonstrated experience conducting evaluations within educational environments
- Proficient in administering and interpreting a variety of diagnostic and assessment tools
- Skilled in working with students spanning early childhood through young adulthood
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for delivering evaluation results and recommendations
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and administrators
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychometric and diagnostic assessments for students referred within the 2-21 age range
- Prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing assessment findings, eligibility, and educational recommendations
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed, sharing insights to guide appropriate supports and interventions
- Consult with educators, parents, and service providers to interpret results and address student needs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with applicable laws and school policies
- Manage a varied caseload and organize work to meet required deadlines
