Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Groesbeck, Texas

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience conducting educational assessments and interpreting results
• Solid understanding of special education laws and procedures
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong advocacy and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ learning strengths and challenges
• Interpret testing data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs
• Support compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Consult with teachers regarding instructional strategies tailored to student needs
• Provide clear, compassionate communication with parents and guardians
• Monitor student progress and participate in annual IEP meetings
