Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician in the state of Texas
  • Experience conducting assessments and evaluations within a school setting
  • Strong understanding of special education law, evaluation procedures, and IEP processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Keen attention to detail and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive educational diagnostic services to students, including assessments, reporting, and participation in ARD/IEP meetings
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to multidisciplinary team members and families
  • Offer recommendations for student eligibility and support interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation for both direct and indirect services
  • Serve as a resource to school staff on learning differences, interventions, and best practices
