Position Details

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive academic assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education
• Analyze assessment results and prepare thorough evaluation reports
• Facilitate Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Partner with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families throughout the evaluation process
• Provide recommendations to support appropriate educational programming and services
• Ensure all evaluations and documentation meet state and federal compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports within required timelines

Qualifications

• Active Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
• Master's degree in Education or a related field
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and ARD processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
