Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Proven experience evaluating students in elementary or K-12 settings
- Thorough knowledge of standardized assessments, IEP process, and compliance regulations
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to interpret data and articulate results in an accessible, confidential, and meaningful manner
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage multiple evaluations in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for elementary students as referred
- Prepare detailed, timely evaluation reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and related service personnel to support students’ learning plans
- Ensure all documentation meets district, state, and federal special education compliance standards
- Support a positive, student-focused culture within the elementary school environment
