Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Hutto, Texas

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
• Master’s degree in special education or related field, highly preferred
• Proven experience working in schools as an Educational Diagnostician
• Strong understanding of special education processes, evaluation tools, and compliance requirements
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive reports
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational evaluations to determine students’ individual educational needs and eligibility for special education services
• Administer a variety of assessment tools and interpret results for parents, teachers, and other staff
• Develop, write, and present evaluation reports at ARD/IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies that support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Provide recommendations and consultative support to intervention teams
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable regulations
