Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Educational Diagnostician with relevant certification required
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish for bilingual assessments
  • Experience conducting in-person educational evaluations in a school setting
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and psychoeducational protocols for diverse populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable managing a varied caseload and maintaining detailed documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bilingual (English and Spanish) evaluations for referred students in person
  • Evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs using standardized tools
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing testing outcomes and recommendations
  • Work closely with school psychologists and educators to interpret results and support intervention plans
  • Attend ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, collaborating with facilitators and team members
  • Manage a calendar of middle school evaluations, with occasional elementary student assessments
  • Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with district guidelines and timelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to assessment best practices
