5th Grade 7th Grade Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Irving, Texas

Make a difference every day by supporting students and educators in a diverse school setting as an Educational Diagnostician. You'll collaborate with teachers and staff working with students from 1st to 9th grade, helping to identify and address unique learning needs that enable every child to succeed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working with multiple grade levels, ideally 1st through 9th grade
• Strong knowledge of special education processes and documentation
• Familiarity with assessment tools, instructional strategies, and intervention planning
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents, and outside agencies

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Interpret results and deliver clear, actionable reports to staff and families
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help determine appropriate services and accommodations
• Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for interventions and instructional strategies
• Support teachers in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school policies and regulations
