A K-12 educational setting in Jacksonville, Texas, is seeking a skilled Educational Diagnostician for the 2025–2026 school year. This W-2 contract position requires in-person services, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, to assess and support students’ learning needs across grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for K-12 students to identify learning strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and recommend tailored interventions and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Provide both direct and indirect services to enhance student educational outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification/license in Texas
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of educational assessment tools and methods
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
