Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Jacksonville, TX

Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ academic and emotional success throughout the 2025–2026 school year. As an Educational Diagnostician, you will work in-person with a dedicated team, making a meaningful impact by assessing and identifying student learning needs within a supportive school environment.

This full-time, W-2 contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing services directly with students and collaborating with educators to ensure each learner’s unique educational needs are met. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Educational Diagnostics, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Certified Educational Diagnostician credentials (Texas certification preferred)
• Experience conducting assessments and interpreting educational data for students identified with special needs
• Strong understanding of special education law, IEP development, and compliance standards
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
• Comfortable working on-site and engaging directly with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for students referred for special education consideration
• Interpret academic and cognitive assessments, and share results with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing recommendations for instruction and services
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design appropriate interventions and accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and state requirements
• Provide indirect services, such as consultative support to staff and families
