Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Keller, Texas

Step into a vital role supporting student success as an Educational Diagnostician working on-site in a dynamic Texas school district. This full-time contract opportunity spans 35 hours per week and provides the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and specialists, making a real impact on students' educational journeys.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, preparing comprehensive diagnostic reports, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings. This itinerant position will serve two different schools, providing valuable expertise to a range of age groups and ensuring best practices in special education evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree required
• Active Texas classroom teaching certificate
• A minimum of three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
• Successful completion of the Texas Educational Diagnostician certification exam
• Prior experience working in a school setting is essential
• Strong skills in assessment administration, report writing, and data interpretation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Must be able to complete fingerprinting and time-sensitive credentialing requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer educational and psychological assessments to diverse student populations
• Analyze assessment data to support eligibility recommendations and educational planning
• Prepare clear, thorough, and timely evaluation reports
• Consult with teachers and parents to interpret findings and guide interventions
• Participate in ARD and IEP meetings to inform decision-making
• Travel between two district schools as assigned
