Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Proven experience conducting educational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, compliance, and eligibility standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage thorough documentation and contribute to ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
- Interpret evaluation results to help determine special education eligibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other support team members on intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary ARD committee meetings and offer expertise in educational assessment
- Maintain accurate and timely assessment records and reports
