This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Educational Diagnosticians eager to provide both direct and indirect services within a school environment. You'll collaborate with educators and support staff to evaluate students' needs, support individualized education plans, and contribute meaningful interventions—all in-person within a Texas district.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Proven experience conducting educational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, compliance, and eligibility standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage thorough documentation and contribute to ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
  • Interpret evaluation results to help determine special education eligibility
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other support team members on intervention strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ARD committee meetings and offer expertise in educational assessment
  • Maintain accurate and timely assessment records and reports

This W-2 contract offers a stable, full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a tangible difference throughout the school year. You'll be compensated for both direct services, such as student assessments, and indirect services, such as record keeping and team collaboration—providing you with a well-rounded and meaningful role.
