Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
• Strong knowledge of federal and state guidelines for special education eligibility and evaluations
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments—including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social/emotional domains
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for partnering effectively with families, teachers, and staff
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete formal evaluations and re-evaluations within set timelines
• Interpret testing results and develop thorough written reports
• Provide recommendations to inform the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
• Collaborate with instructional staff to offer strategies and interventions for student support
• Maintain strict documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
