Educational Diagnostician (Bilingual)

Soliant is currently hiring certified bilingual educational diagnosticians near League City, Texas. This role is full-time. The diagnostician will provide comprehensive evaluations, eligibility determinations, and collaborative special education services with a focus on providing culturally and linguistically appropriate assessments for bilingual and multilingual learners. This position works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive accurate evaluations and appropriate educational services in accordance with federal and Texas state regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer and interpret standardized assessments in both English and Spanish.
• Differentiate between language acquisition and disability to support accurate eligibility determinations.
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings to present evaluation findings and recommendations.
• Consult with families regarding evaluation results and special education services in both English and Spanish when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete evaluations within required timelines.

Qualified applicants will have:

• A Master's degree in education (or in a related field).
• Active and valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
• Must be bilingual (fluent) in Spanish and English plus speaking, reading, and writing.
• Knowledge and experience with bilingual evaluation practices.
• Strong report writing, organizational, and communication skills.
