Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification required
- Previous experience as a diagnostician in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess and interpret student data to develop comprehensive recommendations
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging with multi-disciplinary teams
- Flexibility and professionalism in handling evolving caseload details
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify educational needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in eligibility determination committees and ARD meetings
- Maintain timely, accurate evaluation documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Offer consultative services to school staff and parents, helping implement best practices for instructional support
- Adapt to varying caseload assignments as details are finalized
