This full-time contract position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a real difference while collaborating with dedicated educational professionals.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments, actively participating in ARD meetings, and helping develop individualized educational plans. With the support of an ARD Specialist on most campuses, you’ll focus your expertise where it’s needed most—empowering students towards academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
- Several years of Educational Diagnostician experience in Texas public schools, preferably at the middle school level
- Strong background in conducting educational evaluations and navigating ARD processes
- Willingness and ability to work in-person, 40 hours per week, throughout the contract
- Ability to pass a fingerprints/background check as required for credentialing
Responsibilities:
- Perform formal and informal assessments to identify student needs and recommend instructional interventions
- Analyze data and collaborate with educators, families, and ARD teams to shape effective learning plans
- Participate in and help facilitate ARD meetings, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain clear, detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Support one assigned middle school campus, tailoring services for adolescents
