Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Mansfield, Texas

Key requirements:

• Active Texas Educator Certificate
• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Educational Diagnostician certification issued by SBEC
• At least three years of verifiable teaching experience
• In-depth knowledge of special education evaluation procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct educational assessments and re-evaluations (serving approximately 85–100 active students at a time)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement student-centered learning plans
• Prepare clear, comprehensive evaluation reports and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
• Serve students across a range of grade levels (K-12), adapting to varying educational needs
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Work full-time, with hours based on campus assignment: 7:30am–3:30pm (elementary) or 8:00am–4:00pm (secondary)
• Stay updated on best practices and legal regulations in educational diagnostics
