What you'll do:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations for students ages 2-21, addressing a variety of learning and behavioral needs.
  • Utilize standardized assessment tools and interpret results to identify educational and cognitive strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and administrators.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports with recommendations tailored to each student.
  • Participate in eligibility determination meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide ongoing guidance to staff and families regarding assessment findings and intervention strategies.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to special education assessments.

Desired qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician and/or Psychometrist.
  • Experience with evaluation techniques for a broad age range, especially early childhood through adolescence.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in the educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
