Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience conducting academic and cognitive assessments for students
• Familiarity with compliance requirements regarding special education eligibility and programming
• Ability to interpret data, write comprehensive evaluation reports, and present findings clearly to staff and families
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Up-to-date knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding special education
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and score standardized educational and psychological assessments
• Lead evaluation processes to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and support staff
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings, providing diagnostic insight to guide programming decisions
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all required documentation procedures
• Offer consultative support to staff regarding effective instructional interventions and accommodations
• Serve as a resource on best practices for supporting diverse learning needs
