What you’ll bring:

  • Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate (required)
  • Master’s degree in Special Education (required)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Experience conducting educational assessments, developing evaluation reports, and recommending evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent collaborative, communication, and organizational skills

Core responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify learning disabilities or other exceptionalities in students
  • Utilize both English and Spanish to assess, communicate, and document findings for multilingual learners
  • Analyze data to inform eligibility determination and the development of appropriate supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design individualized education programs
  • Maintain accurate and thorough assessment records in accordance with district policies and state regulations
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, providing guidance on student needs and recommended services
