Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an Educational Diagnostician or equivalent credential, with experience in educational assessment and diagnostics
- Proven ability to conduct evaluations for students across a wide grade range (1st-9th)
- Strong understanding of academic, developmental, and behavioral assessments
- Experience interpreting and communicating evaluation results to stakeholders, including teachers and families
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to various grade levels
- Familiarity with school-based policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to special education services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive educational assessments to support student academic and developmental needs
- Develop and deliver clear, actionable diagnostic reports and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, school personnel, and families to facilitate understanding of findings and next steps
- Participate in team meetings for the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Offer ongoing support and consultation for instructional staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in educational diagnostics and relevant grade-level instruction
