Bring your expertise in student assessment and educational diagnostics to an engaging, full-time contract role supporting K–12 learners. This onsite position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by working directly with students whose needs vary across grade levels. With a commitment spanning from July 2026 through early June 2027, you’ll play a key part in evaluating, supporting, and re-evaluating a diverse caseload of 85–100 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Texas Educator Certificate.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of creditable teaching experience.
  • Educational Diagnostician certification granted by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC).
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with comprehensive student evaluations for initial and reevaluation processes, ideally within K–12 environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough, compliant educational assessments for students across multiple grade levels, ensuring diverse learning needs are identified and addressed.
  • Complete all required evaluation and re-evaluation reports promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and recommend effective educational strategies.
  • Attend ARD/IEP meetings, contributing valuable input to the support planning process.
  • Manage a dynamic caseload of active students, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Stay current on best practices, state regulations, and compliance requirements related to special education assessment.

There are three positions available, each offering a set campus schedule—the assignment may vary depending on grade level needs, with elementary hours from 7:30 am–3:30 pm and secondary hours from 8:00 am–4:00 pm.
