Your expertise in both Spanish and English will help shape equitable educational journeys for a diverse student population.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Master’s degree required
  • Active Texas teaching certificate
  • At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
  • Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting
  • Ability to complete all time-sensitive credentialing steps, including fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student testing and evaluations
  • Prepare thorough and timely educational diagnostic reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attending meetings to develop effective strategies for student success
  • Provide expert recommendations and support for IEP development
  • Effectively manage an itinerant caseload across two schools within the district, supporting a range of age groups
