In this full-time position, you will work closely with students and staff in an itinerant capacity, serving two different campuses within the district. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to utilize your Spanish and English language skills in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: Proficient in both Spanish and English
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
  • At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
  • State certification exam for educational diagnosticians successfully completed
  • Experience in a previous school setting
  • Must complete fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and testing for students across assigned schools
  • Prepare thorough and timely evaluative reports
  • Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Interpret assessment results to support effective individualized education plans
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop student supports
  • Facilitate communication between English and Spanish-speaking stakeholders
  • Maintain organized, confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
