Two skilled Educational Diagnosticians are needed to work on-site for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving in an itinerant capacity across two schools. This engaging position involves full-time hours (35 hours weekly) with the chance to make a significant impact in educational assessment and support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including educational assessments and interpretation of results
- Prepare insightful and accurate reports to guide instruction and support services
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support teams at multidisciplinary meetings
- Develop and implement assessment plans as part of special education eligibility determinations
- Travel between assigned schools within the district to address caseload needs
- Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- Minimum of three years’ full-time teaching experience
- Successful completion of the Texas Educational Diagnostician certification exam
- Previous experience working in a school-based role is essential
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting for credentialing
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
