Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in North Richland Hills, TX

Two skilled Educational Diagnosticians are needed to work on-site for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving in an itinerant capacity across two schools. This engaging position involves full-time hours (35 hours weekly) with the chance to make a significant impact in educational assessment and support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including educational assessments and interpretation of results
• Prepare insightful and accurate reports to guide instruction and support services
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support teams at multidisciplinary meetings
• Develop and implement assessment plans as part of special education eligibility determinations
• Travel between assigned schools within the district to address caseload needs
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and district guidelines

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• Minimum of three years’ full-time teaching experience
• Successful completion of the Texas Educational Diagnostician certification exam
• Previous experience working in a school-based role is essential
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting for credentialing
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
