Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - North Richland Hills, Texas

We are seeking a skilled Educational Diagnostician to support a large, diverse caseload on a full-time contract basis. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification (Texas or eligible for Texas reciprocity)
• Strong background in special education, learning assessments, and student support services
• Proven experience managing large caseloads in a fast-paced school environment
• Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and state/federal educational regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time; hybrid/remote options are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective, individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress, documenting interventions and recommending adjustments as needed
• Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding strategies and accommodations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for documentation, procedures, and timelines
