Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Pflugerville, Texas

In this role, you will conduct evaluations at the elementary level, collaborating closely with educators, families, and students to identify and support each child’s unique learning needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of special education assessments and eligibility criteria
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in student evaluations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret educational and developmental assessments for elementary students
• Participate in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) as a key team member
• Provide clear and concise evaluation reports and recommendations to staff and parents
• Offer guidance to teachers regarding accommodations and instructional strategies
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations affecting student evaluation and special services
