Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and staff
- Master’s degree in an education-related field
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
- State certification as an educational diagnostician or eligibility to pass the required exam
- Previous school-based experience in a similar capacity is essential
- Ability to travel between assigned elementary schools as an itinerant specialist
- Candidates must be able to complete fingerprinting through the TEA unless already cleared within a Texas public school district
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for approximately 9-10 students each month
- Collaborate with ARD committees, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain detailed, accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
