Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Plano, Texas

Located near Plano, TX, this contract position offers a unique opportunity—three diagnostic professionals are needed to facilitate ARDs and conduct comprehensive testing on a single campus.

You'll work alongside a collaborative team and have the ability to make a significant impact by ensuring students receive the support and accommodations they need to thrive. The assignment runs from as soon as possible through May 21, providing the chance to connect with students, families, and school staff in a meaningful way.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
• Experience in conducting educational assessments and facilitating ARDs
• Strong understanding of special education regulations and compliance
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 125 students
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and proactive problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage student assessments, eligibility determinations, and ongoing progress monitoring for a diverse caseload
• Lead and support ARD meetings, working closely with educators and parents to create effective learning plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with school staff to support student access and success
• One day per week may be remote, provided on campus duties are not required that day
