Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Previous experience as an Educational Diagnostician in school settings preferred
• In-depth knowledge of evaluation instruments, assessment tools, and special education regulations
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students referred for testing
• Develop, review, and revise individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for instructional strategies and support services
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings as an expert resource
• Maintain detailed and compliant evaluation reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Serve as a consultant to teachers and staff on best practices for special education and interventions
• Contribute to a positive, student-focused environment across campuses
