Fill one of two available full-time roles and contribute to developing individualized programs that foster student achievement.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
- Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting academic assessments
- Strong understanding of special education law and compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive academic evaluations for students across K-12 grades
- Analyze and interpret assessment data to determine educational eligibility and inform programming
- Collaborate in creating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations and meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development as needed
