Skills and Experience Sought:

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification is required
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Educational Diagnostician, preferably in school settings
  • In-depth knowledge of special education processes, student evaluations, and eligibility determinations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and advocating for personalized educational plans

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
  • Interpret data and generate clear, actionable evaluation reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations governing special education practices
  • Offer direct consultation, guidance, and training to school staff regarding best practices in assessment and intervention
  • Maintain thorough documentation and student records in accordance with established guidelines
