Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Special Education required
- Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification (Diag Cert)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings is highly valued
- Ability to efficiently manage caseloads and work independently
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify student learning needs
- Develop, interpret, and present evaluation results and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams and families
- Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and related service providers to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide consultation and guidance to staff regarding learning disabilities, interventions, and specialized instruction
- Participate in ARD meetings and contribute to data-driven decisions for student success
