Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Prior experience performing evaluations in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong understanding of special education processes, eligibility criteria, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with robust organizational and documentation abilities
• Adaptability to work within fast-paced educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret educational, cognitive, and achievement assessments for students
• Compile and analyze evaluation results to help determine appropriate educational placements and interventions
• Prepare comprehensive, timely reports that support ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) committees
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies ensuring student success
• Monitor student progress and participate in ongoing data review to inform instructional decisions
• Uphold all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding student assessment and confidentiality
